Reveal Your Inner Wisdom
Embrace Your Most Authentic Self
Balance Vulnerability With Success
Who is Jacinda Mitchell, LMFT?
As a Biracial Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to empowering ambitious and independent women of color to embrace their intuition, harmonize career aspirations with personal fulfillment, and cultivate stronger connections with loved ones. My approach centers on leveraging women's inherent strengths to thrive both personally and professionally. I firmly believe in tapping into our innate wisdom to forge an authentic journey towards happiness and equilibrium.
I am deeply committed to offering women of color and multicultural couples a therapeutic space where they can feel truly seen and heard. My mission is to extend mental health support to a community that often carries heavy burdens and values self-sufficiency, sometimes to the detriment of their well-being. My ultimate goal is to guide you in utilizing your strengths to achieve a life of harmony that encompasses achievement and emotional openness.
What to Expect
When you work with me, I want therapy to feel both human and intentional. Sessions are conversational and warm, with room to exhale, be real, and show up exactly as you are, without performing strength or having to explain every layer. From the beginning, we’ll collaborate on a holistic treatment plan that reflects your goals, values, relationships, culture, and day-to-day realities.
How Does it Work
I integrate your own internal wisdom with the flexible structure of humanistic, relationship-centered modalities, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to offer practical, real-life tools. This is especially supportive for Black and mixed-race folks, multicultural couples, and creatives navigating corporate pressure, family expectations, and the “strong Black woman” role.
